Medical clinic design

Client: Dott. F. Sentinelli
Date of realization: October 2023
Project type: Concept – Outline Design – Executive
Role: Design – 3D visualisation

In the heart of Parioli, Rome, stands a medical clinic that reflects the harmony between functionality and design. The interior design project developed for this clinic focused on several guidelines to optimise space and create a welcoming and professional environment.

Partitioning of Spaces and Visual Permeability

Considering the small size of the room, the project focused on partitioning the spaces in a harmonious manner, maintaining visual permeability between them without compromising the sunlight and space. This was achieved through the use of custom-made aluminium structures and Bencore starlight extra panels, which separate the different interior areas. The glossy matt finish of the panels promotes an interplay of reflection and depth, contributing to the comfort of the rooms.

Lighting and Reception

For the lighting of the reception desk, two orbit pendant lamps were installed, integrating a polycarbonate panel that echoes the architectural language of the partitions in the aesthetic doctor’s room. This choice not only provides functional lighting, but also contributes to the overall aesthetics of the room.

Furnishing and Atmosphere

The detailed study of the furnishings favoured the use of matt lacquered joinery and glass tops for the professionals’ desks. The objective was to create an environment that communicates seriousness and quality, reflecting the clinic’s professional image.

Innovation and Technical Details

The executive project allowed an accurate study of the different aluminium frames, with the use of innovative systems for joining the elements. In addition, special attention was paid to the electrical and lighting design, providing for the installation of orbit pendant lamps and substructures for anchoring the LED strips, ensuring a scenographic and harmonious effect of all the elements.
In summary, the interior design project for this medical clinic in Parioli, Rome, succeeded in combining functionality and aesthetics, creating a welcoming, professional and high quality environment.
The beauty of the architecture and design combines with functionality to create a unique and welcoming environment for patients and healthcare professionals.

The use of removable structures in interior design offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing rooms to adapt to changing and transforming activities throughout the life of the project.

Dynamic adaptability

Removable structures allow spaces to be quickly adapted to changing needs. Whether redefining the work area in response to new business needs or reconfiguring rooms for temporary events, the flexibility offered by these structures allows for dynamic space management.

Optimising Space

In a context where flexibility is essential, removable structures allow for maximum optimisation of available space. The ability to quickly change the arrangement of internal elements allows every inch to be used to the full, adapting it to specific needs at every stage of the project.

Long-term Cost Reduction

The use of removable structures can help reduce long-term costs. The ability to adapt spaces without having to make significant structural changes avoids the costs and downtime associated with substantial renovations.

Sustainability and Waste Reduction

The flexibility offered by removable structures can help reduce waste and environmental impact. The ability to reuse and reconfigure structures in response to changing activities reduces the need to demolish and build again, promoting a more sustainable approach to interior design.
In conclusion, the use of removable structures in interior design offers a dynamic and sustainable solution to guarantee the flexibility of environments, allowing them to evolve and adapt harmoniously to the changes and transformations of activities during the life of the project.
